Question about prime ai light for 5 gallon nano

Hey guys. Getting back into the hobby. Starting off with a 5 gallon nano. Just going to keep shrimps, crabs, clown fish, mushrooms. Does anyone know if the prime AI fixture is too strong or for a 5 gallon nano tank? I have this tank:

Nope should be good and can always change the settings to lower also!

If I can recommend something. Look into the Kessil A80. Perfect for a pico tank

Hey there, welcome back to the hobby. The Prime AI is a great light but for a 5 gallon nano tank it can be a bit too strong, especially for soft corals and mushrooms. You can still use it if you lower the brightness and keep it around 20 to 30 percent power depending on your setup. Try to keep the light a little higher or shorten the lighting time so it does not stress your clownfish or shrimp. That Marineland tank is a nice choice and with a little care it will make a great small reef setup.
