With great sadness I decided to break down my freshwater planted tank. Unfortunately, life kicked me hard and with rising expenses (electricity + recent ridiculous rent hike my landlord gave me for Christmas) I have to say goodbye to my FW tank for good. It was a great ride and I am gonna miss it, but I've got to do what I have to do.It's a high tech setup meant to grow demanding plants. I will try to sell it as a whole and hope that I will find somebody interested in buying it. I think that if I uproot all stem plants, catch all fish and drain all water you can take the tank with substrate and basically set up this aquarium somewhere else and have ready planted tank. The substrate I am using is mineralized topsoil capped with Saechem Black Sand mix with regular black. There are Manzanita branches in the tank and I have some more driftwood lying around that I will gibe the buyer as well.
Here's specs (please note that I'm not selling the stand as I made it myself and planning to use it for something else:

I calculated all equipment and livestock and it ended up well over $800. If somebody is willing to buy this whole setup I am willing to sell it for $550. I paid much more to put it together but I am trying to think realistic here
. Please contact me if you have any questions. You are more than welcome to come see the setup in my apartment. To carry the tank and equipment you probably need a larger car and someone to help (two people with sand in the tank may be PITA)
Again, price is $550 for all except stand, don't hesitate to ask questions or request additional pics. Thanks for looking!
