wow to bad im still recovering from surgery i could have done it for ya.do you have the welder or you needed someone with there own?what type of metal

I have some welding equipment. I was planning to do the welding on my own (never welded before) but if I can find some1 to help or do it for me reasonably id much rather that...I have a brand spankn new tig welder not a great 1 , I need to look what's with it as far as accesories and look at its stats.I bought it afew years ago and never got around to tinkering with it.I know I don't have the tongston or the argon..I have a 220v outlet avialable.sheet steel,nothing to special. Its automotive welding...nothing to crazy, I'm confident I can do it after some practice just not sure how much practice it will take.

when will you be recovered duke?hope it wasn't to big a surgery :/

its goin to be awhile.you are going to need some stainless wire to weld what you want welded i believe or else it will be britttle and break.

Tig welder dame thats not made for what you want to do . A mig welder is the best thing to us for body work, like what your going to us it for . Tig welders are for welding thick steel for a very strong weld . You can use the tig welder but it will be time consuming, a mig will be quick and easy and you just have to spot weld it to the car .
