Please, please, please do not give kittens away at three weeks old! They do not eat on their on at that age. I am the dedicated bottle
feeder for my animal rescue group and I was actually brought a three week old kitten last night, and another four weeks ago.
Where is the momma cat? Is someone going to have her fixed? She can have three litters a year if she is not spayed. My organization can help with low cost spay neuter, and if you check out the link in my signature I believe we even have a Vet in Brooklyn who accepts our low cost spay/neuter certificates.
Are the kittens safe? (ie, indoors). You can introduce a litter box to them and they will instinctively use it, even as young as three weeks. Also, FYI, kittens all have blue eyes until they are about 5 1/2 weeks old.
I would love to tell you that my group could help you, but 9 is a huge litter, and we just don't have the resources. Please bring them to a local shelter (when they are at least 6-7 weeks old) if you cannot place them with loving families. Many shelters will tell you that they will euthanize them if they are not adopted, but I can almost assure you there are local groups working with the city shelters that take the animals which are threatened to be euthanized.
Please do not let these babies grow up on the street, and please, have momma cat spayed!!!!
If you need any other info, please pm me.
