My new place needs to have shower curtain rod installed.
The wall is all some kind of ceramic blue tile.Looks glassy to me, but I'm not expert.

I am told that in order to install the curtain rod, I'd need a special drill/drill bit so I wont crack the tile.

Can you do this?

The job is pretty straight forward:
Install 2 curtain rods (drill 8 holes)

If you can do this, please provide some kind of proof and have references. Please let me know your estimated charge.

The job is in Brooklyn, NY

that's the problem.
My gf does not want the spring loaded or any kind of tension rod.
I guess she is used to having them fall or something.

She's picky and wants to get them installed.

Also, with purchasing the tile bits ourselves...she is afraid that I will make a crack in the tile and ruin it.
Sooooo...that leaves us with getting someone to 'professionally' install it.

Get the supplies, wait for her to go out, do it (carefully), wait for her to come home and be like "yeah, that was easy "

when you mark the holes to drill use a center punch and tap lightly at the mark or the drill bit might wander and your holes wont line up its not as hard as you think just use a level and you will be fine but i agree use the spring loaded ones and throw them out when you want to change
