I am so Proud to be American, boy can we put on a fireworks show.
I could not get there by boat, the security kept the boats far away. (I was out there anchored off the Statue of Liberty in a boat for the Bi Sentenial in 1976 though)
My Daughter lives on the 16th floor in a building right near where they had the Macy's fireworks display and she had a big party so that must have been a great view.
I could see them from my house (If I stood on my roof) but not very well. I am about 27 miles from the Statue of Liberty.

But what a show.

My brother in law loves fireworks. He fused these racks together by himself as one of three grand finales. We had the entire town of Carleton place shut down with all traffic stopped watching the spectacle.

After an hour the cops came.
