Anyone here have there back fused

im schuduled to have spinal surgery and im real nervous.the only operation they can perform is a fusion.i looked into disc replacement and since my L5 is completely gone and i have 2 other herniations im not a candidate.i have had 2 other opinions and this is it if i want to be pain free.the reason why im nervous is because im only 35 ad the surgery is not guaranteed.anyone ever have this opeation or know anyone that has had it.i can give you my number so we can talk about how your doing.i have a top spinal surgeon doing te operation so im really not cncerned of the actual operation its what my future will hold.thank you

good luck, a guy that used to work with had this done. he was a police officer for another 10+ years after it. I dont see him anylonger to put you in contact.
