I lost power yesterday due to a car taking out a pole, and needed to power the heaters off inverters plugged into the cars. 6 hours later and the tanks sitting at 70 and the house at 53, power was restored. Made me think about if this were to have happened while it was colder, like it will be. Needless to say, I bought a generator today.
