No problem, I figured the kids would be able to talk to the soldiers after the demonstrations I would actually go as well if I was gonna be in town.

See if I start my kids on the right track when it comes to celebrating my country and the people who defend it.
Unlike when I grew up :-/

My Daughter is 34 and I drumed it into her all of her life. She knows how I feel about Memorial Day and Veterans Day and she is respectful as she should be.

In a few weeks we are expecting a Grand Child and I will drum it into him as well and try to teach him what it means to be an American and what it cost others in the past.
I teach them that it is not just a number like 100,000 or 69,000. It is lives that are no longer here and children who no longer have a Father or Mother.
