The R8 ran against the M6 in the pic above. He did a few runs but not a lot. I don't think it did that well. Pretty sure the R8 was brought as a secondary car, the black series Merc in the first pic was the primary.

It's a fairly small tight knit club. This event was more about racing than showing off the cars although I don't think there were any garage queens in this group, almost everyone took a few runs. Membership is invite only and you have to be sponsored by a member, plus own an exotic. Really great and fun bunch of people.

I got to sit shotgun for a couple runs in a CTS-V coupe and one of the GTRs. Also got to ride home in the GTR which is a beast of a car even stock. 150 in that car feels like nothing and the car was barely trying. Definitely on my list of toys in the maybe near future.

New GTRs are around 120k now and you can get a used one in good shape for about 75k. Not bad when you consider the price tag on the cars they were beating up on all day. The aftermarket work is really expensive though.

Jared is there a way that non members can stop by to check out the cars or take pictures and see them race?

Some of the events you can but mostly it's just members or close friends. Yesterday there was a pretty big crowd by the afternoon but only paid members or paid guests got to hang on the track.
