So of course it being super hot out my AC crapped out :frown::sigh:
The outlet is a 220v/20amps but i only seem to find acs with 230v Plug Type: Perpendicular/NEMA 6-20
or
Plug Type: LCDI - 6-20P (NEMA)

would i be able to use any of those AC's or do i need to have someone come in and change the electrical?

thanks

If the AC unit you buy uses 220 volts you can use it. There is no such thing in the US as 230 volts there is only 110 or 220. If the plug on your new AC fits, it will work as a 110 volt plug is different than a 220 volt plug. If your outlet is different than the plug on the AC, have someone change the receptacle or shut the power and do it yourself.
They sometimes rate plugs for 230 because they want you to think is more heavier, but it is not.
