Genetically Modified Salmon may soon be legal!

What's your take?

I am against it so as I am against the GMO crops when I was a kid. I remembered the developers saying GMO will save world hunger (so presumably a good thing by many listeners)but did we? I only see the wealth moved from poor countries into the pockets of the developer(s) and that the users are less and less likely to recover from their traditional farming ability as they did not have(or enough) traditional seeds to restart.

To be cleared, I am not against technology if used properly but mostly about the business model and execution of the technology in the real world.

Let's see, GMO crops are linked to colony collapse disorder in bees, they're only sustainable if the company producing them allows them to be due to the inclusion of the terminator gene, and recently a GMO cucumber was linked to genital baldness and bed-wetting.

Yeah, this is good stuff.
