Need Access to Fork Lift or Loading Dock

So I'm shipping some rims to Florida via freight and the trucking company is charging me an arm and a leg unless I can pallet the rims (which I will be able to thanks to DA23) and have access to a loading dock. Don't ask me why cause I don't know...just know it's gonna save me 100+ dollars in shipping.

So I'm hoping someone from the BX or lower Westchester can help me out

They charge the insane amount because they would have to lift it from ground level into an 18 wheeler trailer. That's a lot of height. They charge for every they have to lift. Good luck getting it done.

Thought about that. Not sure if they'll let me do that though. Won't come to worst, I'll try it.

That or really tell them to take a hike and have a few people help you lift them in yourself. Not sure if you have people available.

why don't you check with these car shippers, their supposed to be reasonable.
and you might not need a pallet. you can also ck grey hound, they ship by bus.

Ended up not going with freight. Found a friend that works w/ UPS and hooked it up.
