Heh my oscars used to make a really huge mess whenever they ate feeders. chew em and them spray the guts and scales through it's gills. It was good feed for the smaller fish though.

Never got the guts, but got a ton of scales. They are strong buggers too. I have a 55 in wall at my parents house and I picked him up at the store when I was like 15. Went from 2" to 11" in a few months. He jumps out of the tank gets behind the wall. Had to break down the 55, get it out of the wall. A good 1 hour. Got the guy and still lived another 2 years. Died while I was in college and my parents arent the best aquarium keepers. But I think that it was its time considering it survived that hour. Nuts

My oscars use to eat tuntil they couldnt close there mouths. that was funny since they were just sideways on the bottom of the aquarium.
