Boating Season Begins !

Hey JC long time no see! It could be that as well. Everything seems to like the bottom of a boat to grow on. I dont miss my days of scrapping barnacles off the hull. Did that one year and then bottom painted the boat every year after that.

I don't get barnacles on my hull because of the paint but because you can't use copper based paint on aluminum my outdrive is full of them as are my two stainless props. I once wrote the outdrive paint company to ask them if they put barnacle vitamins in their paint because I get more barnacles where I painted then the places where I missed.

My outdrive is somewhat encrusted...:eek1: We cleaned off the intakes this past weekend and are taking her to Short Beach on Friday to scrape the rest of it off.

My meeting was cancelled tonight , so went for a sunset cruise instead on a friends boat

Ink the sad thing is he'll never get 220. A friend of mine just bought a 42' silverton (05 or 06) and he paid 220. And my buddy overpaid! If you use your boat a lot the expense is just not feasible anymore.
