I alway post my photos from abroad, but there are some fun places in New York to photograph as well!

I don't know how many of you have ever been to Williamsburg, VA but we have our own little Williamburg in Staten Island. I went up to Historic Richmondtown last month with a couple of friends who are also kind of nerdy and like history. :) It was pretty interesting and it only took TWO HOURS + a train, a boat and a bus to get us there.

Most of the exteriors weren't much to see because it's spread out over a two large roads which sort of break up the old time-y mood in the photos. :lol2: This is the Christopher House.

It was revolutionary war re-enactment day and we could sign the oath to the King of England (boo).

EDIT: and for those of you with kids under 11 but over 5, this would be a fun outing. They have a lot of stuff (or at least they did on this day) aimed for children.

You should check out Old Bethpage.
Cooper's house is there, as in Cooper Union. It's a cool place with tons of info.
Also you should check out......ah I'll pm you. No need to blow up something cool.
