Did anyone get a chance to watch to Hr derby last night in yankee stadium. All i can say is WOW!!! Josh hamilton hit 28hrs in the first round. This kid is going to be a stud for a long time.

I honestly think he was shooting for the gap like he said in the press conference. He come close twice and how about that shot off the Hess sign.

Those were bombs!No one ever hit that sign in the back!Not even A-Rod could hit it there...well maybe.I wished he would of joined.Saw what Chase Utley said?When he was introduced,he was booed and he mumbled"boo me?..**** you".

That was a super display of power.

Lets be realistic too. He was being thrown meatballs by a 71 year old. Being thrown a major league pitch I'm not so sure he'd be hitting 500 footers quite so easily.

The other thing I found pretty awesome about the Hamilton Show was Clay Counsil pitching to him and hearing how he was at the stadium for Don's perfect game and now gets to pitch off the same mound on his second trip to the stadium. Mongoose I gotta tell you, I dont know about everyone else but I am glad I am not on 161st street tonight. Have fun tonight and you better be taking a ton of pics.

Yankee fan but I have been there done that in terms of the stadium. I just hate navigating the stadium on a Friday night, I could just imagine tonight. But if I were to pick the one day I would want to be at the stadium, it would be the final game. Unfortunatly that sold out in March.

gotcha, I am coming from westchester so I come in on the sawmill to the grand concourse and I am there in 20min, got it down to a science. Wish I had tickets for the final game too but I guess you can't have everthing

josh might not hit 500 ft bombs in a real game but he is having an impressive year. What did in the hr derby plus what he is doing in the reg season is very impressive. At this pace he will have close to 200 rbis by the end of the season. Wish the yankee traded for him.

The key for Hamilton is to stay strong and clean. Its easy for addicts to fall back into their addictions.

He started looking sluggish after the first round, i guess after hitting 28hrs would make u alittle tired.

He is so determined to stay on track that he has his mom follow him to all the games to make sure he doesn't fall off the wagon. He has all the potential in the world, all he has to do is stay focused.
