Hey MR, we almost lost one of our precious own. Timbo was in a bad accident and had to crawl out from inside his upside down car. Glad you're ok buddy. :grouphug:

He's ok physically. The brand new car (only 2 months old) was totaled. I'm just thankful he's alive. He said if not for the seatbelt he'd be dead. Airbags deployed and he took out some small trees narrowly missing two huge (sure to kill) trees in the process.

Thanks everyone. I got really lucky and walked away from the accident almost untouched. Just have to go through the insurance process now. Anyone out there that likes to drive fast, slow down because it is not worth the risk. The police and firefighters couldn't believe that I had no injuries. I will post some pics of the car when I get them just to show what driving to fast can do. I am very glad to be ok, and more importantly that no one else was involved in the accident.

I am a fireman myself and I can tell you from experience that it is not to often that someone walks away from a crash unscathed when the car is totalled and upside down, consider yourself lucky, a car can be replaced, your body cannot......at least not yet, glad to hear you're alright

17 years in the fire service and 10 in the babysitting service, I've seen lots of accidents. Seat belts save lives especially in rollover accidents. Glad to hear you are ok.

Glad to hear you are ok!! Ive been through my share of em too so I know how you feel. It takes that one accident to smarten guys like us up. You will find that there are other ways to feed the speed addiction that never goes away.
