Softball Sundays

Calling all softball players or people that just want to play. Every Sunday a group of guys get together in Brooklyn and play softball. It's not a paid league, just getting together like when we where all kids. And like the old days all you have to do is bring yourself and a glove. The location is Friends Field on the corner of Bay Parkway and McDonald Avenue and game times are 9am, but most of the time start at 10am. We dont play later than 12pm so the earlier we start the better. We will be playing this Sunday so if noone has plans for the holiday weekend come on down. Coed softball so ladies are invited as well. If your interested let me know. If you can make it this Sunday please PM no later than Friday evening if possible. The earlier I know the better because if we dont have enough people together by Saturday night we pretty much trash the game and it saves you a wasted trip to Brooklyn. Hope to see some of you guys on the field.

I won't be able to make every Sunday. I do play on a fall team when I am needed.

If there was an MR softball game I'd go. My Sunday league just ended as well.

I'd play George but 9AM is too early for me. I was playing nights

I know the mornings are rough. But like I said alot of times we start at 10am if that helps. Maybe MR members should get together to play my boys. Thats right I called MR out. buwaa hahahahaha. We only need 18 peps.

No league. Here's the deal. This park has two ball fields that no one uses not even leagues so I ran into some guys last year while I was walking my dog and found out that these guys get together on Sunday mornings and play. Been playing for the past year with these guys. Whats been happening is that some of the regulars that play have not been able to play recently so I am reaching out to any members who would want to play and inviting them to join us. This is a pickup softball. Theres the phrase I have been missing, pickup softball. There are no league fees, just want members to come on down bring a mitt and have some sun. So basically if your an early riser and have nothing better to do and wanna play just come on down.
