Hey everyone, a few members were talking fantasy football so I decided to setup a MR fantasy football league. Here is the stup.

10 teams minimum - 4 to start the league

Head 2 Head

Scoring begins Week 2

Yahoo Fantasy Football so you will need a Yahoo account

Draft time will be next week with the date to be determined. This is shaping up to be done via livedraft so test your computers and let us know what days next week that are no good for you.

Since scoring begins Week 2 if the league has 4 teams by the 9th or 10th we will go with those teams and the league will start. There will be no additions after that.

Bear with me as this is the first time I am setting up a league.

geroge there is no date set up for the draft. please advise. this way i know. i want to participate in it.

The draft is auto so it works the same way a yahoo public works you set the pre draft rankings and then set your team to ready to draft once all the teams are set I will set the league to draft and hope for the best.

george can you just set it so we can draft our own teams. its much better that way. i like to control what i get if you know what i mean. just set a date and time. let everyone who doesnt want to be there set there rankings so they will get whatever they want. any questions please just call

Mat honestly I am not sure how you want to do that, but I think I do know what you mean. Maybe the live draft option would work best. But it would require all of us to be logged into yahoo during the draft but if would give you the control I think your looking for. Let me know.

I am for the live draft as well. If you cannot be there, you can still pre rank your players and have yahoo auto draft for you. Just set it up for next week at a reasonable time. Also, as commish, you will be able to allow the league to start in week 1 even though the week will be complete already. Yahoo will calculate the scores for week 1 after the draft is complete.

Ok guys, we are thinking a live draft here. What time and day is good. Wednesday from 6 to 10 is no good for me.

And I am going to keep the Week 2 scoring in tact just for any of us currently or potential that are maybe a little unfamiliar with fantasy football scoring. Just starting everything on an even plane.

ok well then lets try for next tuesday night. cause monday i will be watching my 10pm game. cant believe i have the last game of opening week. really blows. so lets try tuesday weds, thurs , fri nights. figure around 8- 8:30. whatscha think?

Friday night next week is no good for me, I am good any other day. I am usually up until 2 am each morning doing homework, so a draft would be a welcome change.
