Kathy , Going Thru A Bad Time With The Ponds Ammonia. I Had A Leak In The Waterfall And I Toke It Apart And Did Not Think Before I Did It. I Drained All The Water And Let Dry To Seal It.this Is Were I Lost All My Bactiera And It Spiked On Me. I Have Been Puting Zyme And Other Stuff But Not Dropping On Me.the Good Thing Is I Fish Are Swimming
I assume you have no place else to move that many fish?
I have an inflatable pool...10' x 6' x 22"d, do you want to borrow it & move them into that until you cycle?
They can't stay in your pond, it's harming them...
Looks nice but 2 things-- 1 get the fish out before you kill them....... or atleast do massive water changes every day till you get a handle on the ammonia. 2- is the whole pond above ground? If so it could potentially freeze solid if the winter is real cold.
i have spoke with jarret for the last week about his problem the fish are eatting and swiming so it just a matter of time before the pond cycles again he is doing every thing right doing water changes feeding very little oneces a day checking every day on the fish and levels its been two weeks seens he meesed up i really dont think his fish are in danger with every thing he is doing i think it will break very soon keep me posted
