Save The Gorillas

I was honored to be at the FIRST Kida Gorilla Summit today. My daughter's class was one of the lucky participants and I volunteered to go with them.

I got the chance to see and hear Dr. Richard Leakey speak (am a BIG fan!). I almost died when I found out Dr. Leakey was sitting 4 rows in front of me

Since I grew up in Africa, the Leakey name was very popular.

The program was webcast globally and got to see key 'front' people in the fight to save the mountain gorillas.

Did you know that there are only 720 mountain gorillas known to be alive?

Am doing my share by sharing what I saw and heard at the summit.
