Power tool Question

What kind of power tool will remove these?The man who installed the A/C, bolted these in.Never used one before so I'm a rookie.Anyone have one I can borrow or can come over and I'll give you a free frag?LMK

Doesnt Look Like A Bolt And Looks To Be Welded In, If It Is A Bolt Try A Pair Of Lock Pliers

Not welded,I saw the guy drill them in with a tool.Was like 4 years ago,Tough to get it out with mere hand tools being it's through metal and steel.

A battery drill with nut driver attachement the size of that bolt/screw thingy should work just fine.

Actually tried to removed them using pressure pliers.

5/16 or 1/4" Hex Head, aka nut driver should do the trick. Those are two common sizes.

Cut it off with a Dremel if all else fails. A diamond coated wheel should do just fine.

Ditto, but it looks like you messed up the head by using the pliers. I think that Sears will sell a tool for replacing damaged nuts/ bolts.

That's a hex nut. If it's part of the install, it's probably inch.

If all else fails, I like vise-grips!

I'm pretty handy. Let me know if you really get stuck...

Thanks Guys.Managed with the pressure pliers.They were about 1/2 in,Smaller than I thought.Still need the proper tool to reinstall it once the Summer rolls around.

thats just a self taping screw take em out with a nut driver or a reversing drill with a1/4" or 5/16" bit ,thats all i have to say about that !
