couple looking to adopt

So a good friend of mine has a dear friend who is looking to adopt a baby. She and her husband want to do a private adoption - where they find the birth mother and agree to the adoption outside of any agencies. the court does get involved in the process to make it all legal and binding, but the idea is that the birth mother can be involved in the life of the child as the child grows up, and the adoptive parents want to know the birth mother before and after the child is born.

The birth parents basically have asked all of their friends to help cast as wide a net as possible - so I'm helping out. If you know a woman who is "experiencing an unplanned pregnancy" (such an odd phrase) and does not want to parent the child, and if she is interested in this type of adoption, please feel free to put her in touch with me (can start the process with a pm).

you know, i was wondering myself whether it would be okay, but i figured, it's for such a great cause, and if there is a single person on MR who knows someone in the unfortunate situation of being pregnant when they don't want to be.... this could be an answer to a few prayers....
