Disney Cruise

I decided to take advantage on the 'kids sail for free' special and take the family on a Disney cruise next month http://disneycruise.disney.go.com
Has anyone been on this, and can tell me what to expect? any pointers on what to do with the kids while onboard ect.?

I went on that cruise when I was about 12 (I'm 35 now) and I remember it was a great time! I can only imagine that they have improved upon it quite considerably. They actually bought the island that Gilligan's Island was shot on (It used to be called Salt Cay) and we went all over the island looking around.

Can you share your experience on the cruise and the process when you come back. My wife wants to try one also instead of the jetblue way.

Sailed on the Disney Magic eight years ago...expect everything Disney.

Depending on how old your kids are, there's a Teen Club (free) and the Daycare which you have to pay for so you can enjoy time on and off the ship on excursions.
If you have older kids...*warning* the boat gives you a keycard that let's you charge to your room...I've seen some angry parents when it's time to clear the room charges.

This is before I had kids...now I'm planning to bring them in April using the same deal.
