Has anyone seen the tanks lately at the ferry?
I went to Manhattan last night and the tanks look like crap, there was only about 10 fish in each tank and they didn't look healthy. Pretty sad
I was under the impression that they weren't happy with the maintenance people they had under contract( same company that built the tank.)
I was approached by someone who was interested in biding on the new contract, they weren't sure what to charge, and apparently there is a unique controller for the filtration with a password that only the current company posses.
Supposedly the S.I. Zoo was taking care of them, but after seeing the tanks I can't believe that's the case. The tanks look like crap. It's a shame how many fish they have killed in those tanks.
A member here was looking into the bid
when he looked at the system the controls for the Ozone, and controllers were password protected there was no manual available either.
I'm assuming the previous company made it very difficult for anyone else to compete with them
it could be that or they didn't want stu0pid kids to break into the cabinet and mess with stuff. There could be various reasons as to password protect stuff.
