RODI waste water

I know some people use the waste water to wash cloths, how do you do it with a washing machine, just pour it in when its filling up or do you have to hook it up to the machine? Don't have enough plants to water so most of its going down the drain :splitspin

You can add a T on the drain, one goes to a storage can the other the drain; just make sure the the storage is lower so it fills first. Add a Kent float valve so once the storage fills the waste goes down the drain. I use a MJ pump to pump the water from a BRUTE to the washer or whatever else I need the water for.

I buy my DI resin in bulk and don't RO anymore. I still get 0tds, and I don't waste 4 gallons of water for every gallon my tank gets.
