Yes, the wonders of the NICU. My son was only 3 pounds when he was born and I had a friend, his son was about 1.5 pounds in NICU two years ago

just an update:

Parker facts:

Today he was increased from 35cc/hr for feeding to 36cc/hr
He was increased his wean off the ventilator from 3 hours 2 times a day to 4 hours 2 times a day!!!
His two bottom teeth have come through!! and the top is almost there!
He started recreational therapy as well, so now he has 4 therapies a day PLUS the weaning off the ventilator. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Swallow Therapy AND Recreational Therapy.
He has outgrown his baby clothes and now fits in almost 6 month clothes!!! yay!!!
March for Babies Walkathon is April 19th, and Parker will turn 1 year old on April 10th!-Time sure flies doesn't it?

Yay!! That is wonderful! Time does fly. We had ourselves a premie as well, what seems like yesterday in reality was almost 9 years ago now, you'd never know how small he was when he came into this world seeing him today. All of those sleepless nights, medications, machines are a distant memory. Now he's a lil' reefer in a big kid mind with a body almost to match (soon he'll be as tall as I am)...
