Actually these factories are based in Southern Anti-Union states such as South Carolina. And one of the key agreements that had to be made to attempt to save the US Auto Manufacturing Industry was to reduce Unoin labor's pay scale to that of Toyota's. Plus don't forget Japanese companies are the largest users of robotic labor.

And the Auto Workers Union turned that down. Due to that decision a lot of them are home looking for their next paycheck now unfortunately.

It's in China, cause Chinese people don't buy crap made in China.

Sad but pretty much true. Example, Chevrolet, Buick and at times Ford are the largest auto seller China even beating out the trusty Toyotas and Hondas. That because a large portion of the Eastern culture that craves Western cultural icons. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Chevy, blue jeans....

You do understand that ameican pharmaceutical companies are heavily influenced by income drugs. There are numerous reports and evidence that companies won't use formulas or chemicals that can't be patented to make new drugs even though it would be a breakthrough medically if that drug was on the market. Drugs that bring in 0 or reduced $$ don't make it out of the lab. I won't even touch the FDA and their approval process and influences...... or the health insurance companies....

We do have better breakthroughs with medical processes, but thats because the doctors are payed very well for its advancement, and the people then pay very well to have those surgeries.

This is nothing but conspiracy theory. The truth is ANY new drug can be patented, regardless of what chemicals, formulas, or processes are used. The drug itself has the patent.

The only reason you would not be able to get a drug patented is if someone else has a patent on the exact same drug and form of delivery.

There is no such thing as a medical breakthrough drug that does not make money. Think about what you are implying.

As far as the FDA goes, they have the strictest standards in the world. Drug companies are Global. So drugs and their manufacturing processes are designed to pass ALL regulations in the world. FDA and the EU having the most stringent guidelines.

FDA regulations have one primary goal....Patient Safety.

Being an American and a Veteran, It really matters to me. I feel every bit of the economic crisis we have now is because of foreign products. If we spent all that money here, it would still be here.
We wake up in a bed made in Viet Nam to a clock radio made in Singapore, shave with a Malasian rasor, get into a Korean car that runs on OPEC oil to get to work for Nike, a Japanese company and wonder why many of us are out of work.:irked:
I have never bought a foreign car and if they stop making American cars, I will build one myself.:tongue1:
I am embarassed to ride in a foreign car.
My clothes and sneakers are American, not easy.
When we go to a supermarket and all the grapes are grown in Chile, we don't eat grapes that week. When the pistacchios are grown in Israel, we don't eat nuts that week.
My Mothern Law bought me an American Flag, made in China. I almost got a speeding ticket taking it back, and I yelled at the clerk for even offering such a thing.
I read in National Geographic of a company in China that employs over 2,000 people and all they make is artificial Christmas trees for America.
And Americans buy them. Not this American.

Of course it is too late for most items. You can't get TV's or any other electronic product, if we diden't buy that stuff, those jobs would still be here.
I am sure this Dell computer is Japanese and I feel it is a discrace, as we invented the thing.

I make it a regular practice to say something when a person parks next to me in a foreign car. I Calmly ask them. Why do you hate America??? I hope I have Educated some people along the way.
Everything I purchase. I try to make sure it is american made.
JMO, but it should be everyone elses too.
Many of my family members have died for this country and it would be insulting to their memory if I shopped any other way.
PS. I own 2 American Cars and a nissan 240 toy. But I bought that nissan used, from an American, who bought it used, from an american. Most of the aftermarket parts are american made, Except the RADIO wich I bought used from an American Junkyard
