ahhhhhhhhhhh no worries... after seeing how far you would have all walked... it would have sucked for me not to offer.
it was a cool day though... I'm glad you enjoyed it. Wish you could have gotten shot more though to really experience it.

FieLds cap the FPS to about 250-290, they don't want peeps getting huRt... and depending on youR barreL, effective range range from 100-150 feet.

I actually got an airsoft little over a year ago with a buddy of mine when we were planning on going out and using them. Even had it upgraded to the field max at 400fps and accurate to 150'+. Needless to say it got out of hand quickly and a couple of us had to take our guns when we left the house so we would be able to fight our way back in... My brother has a paintbull setup though I might borrow his sometime if I can free up a day on a weekend.

we originally liked the airsoft better cuz they look and feel more realistic. It just hurts like hell if you get hit at close range.

Actually effective range is more like 175-190ft. Anything over that is usually just a bounce. Good times though... Paintball is what you make of it. Paintball tends to look as real or as far fetched as you want it to. The more realistic to an M4 you want the marker to be... the heavier it will be. I'm sure that some of the guys can attest to that... however I don't dig on the camos and heavy markers... as you can tell.
But as brightly clothed as I was, I didn't get shot (having paint break on me) all day... or what was left of the day.. when they all got ready.
