The guy Silva fought was a p***y. Obviously he wanted the fight on the ground but to drop to the ground everytime Silva got near him was awful.

Quite honestly, I enjoyed the fight before this one much more. Only thing missing from that prom dance was music!

Silva fought his fight. You have to respect him for that. The guy went 5 rounds and came out untouched, fighting one of the best ground guys in the WORLD. This guy might be untouchable for a while....

I Agree The crowd doesnt understand Fighting.
Unlike most UFC fighters that are in it for FAME and MONEY. Silva is in it for the long haul, and will be able to take his craft anywhere and be succesful. He does not need to take silly chances and fight someone elses fight, and risk his Health for a loss. A--w--is--a--W in the books.
On a different note. I feel Dana White, in 20 years will be looked at like Don King. A guy who used fighters to make himself rich, without a care for the fighters health or wealth.

Chem, I don't think you can say that about Dana. I have a feeling that he does care a bit more about fighters well being, as opposed to Don King. Keep in mind that looking at the losses of Lidell, he does not want to keep him around because it may hurt him more to be in the UFC. He has also let people go out of the Ultimate Fighter shows due to illnesses and injuries previously and currently sustained.

I think both fighters read the guidelines for a win and the guidelines for a lost but not a guideline to entertain the audience. If the president(Dana White) of the business entity UFC thinks it's embrassing to put a "show" up like this, he should ask his firm to refund the audiencce and start to consider new job at WWF

Silva is entertaining when he fights a guy who engages him. I know they circled each other for 7 minutes in the match, but when Silva heated up the other guy just kept running and then falling to the ground. Silva isn't dumb, he wasn't going to the ground with a jutitzu black belt.

I feel bad for Liddel. He genuinely wants to keep fighting. Bu he can't take a punch anymore.

Each of those guys can and will lose fights. Lesnar attacked Mir and lost inside 3 minutes. You can't fight the same fight every match, you have to adjust to your opponents.

And if Silva and GSP ever fought, I think Silva would destroy him.

I just don't see how you can blame Silva. He did nothing in round 1 and most of round 2, but everytime he went after the other guy he ran or fell to the floor. Do you really believe that GSP would have went to the floor with this guy?

Lesnar is still only 3 fights into his career. He is vulnerable to getting caught in a submission hold.
