Wood working on LI?

Ok, who here lives on LI and is kickass at doing woodwork? Like building shelving units and cabinets and crap like that? Not that I'm asking you to do it for me, but with the newly bought house comes some projects I would like to undertake, and would love some good tips and directions, and maybe even some onsite help if you're willing. Basically, I want to learn, I dont want it done for me. Thanks!
