Thank you everyone for the kind words. She has been stable all day and they closed up her chest today. The doctors might try and wake her up at some point tomorrow if she continues to remain stable. So far so good.

I wish Sara wins this battle for her life and fully recovers to enjoy her life to the most. I hope she lives and gets the opportunity to read these messages as she will better understand how valuable her life is to others that don't even know her but want her to be well and live well and are sad for the misfortune that happened to her.
Driving fast is not only the result of the drivers will, the horsepower is there and often people don't even realize the speed they are going. I worked in the automotive industry for about 16 years and witnessed many technological improvements towards safety throughout the years, and one of them that presently equips my car, a C4 exactly like this, acts if I start driving without having fastened my seat belt. It is a beeper which sounds increasingly louder to the point of really annoying and hurt ones ear drums and does not stop until I stop and fasten the seat belt. A device like this applied to speed control would help many to keep within safe limits...it might be one of the solutions in the near future activated by road radars, unfortunately until then like what happened with the seat belts and other safety devices that were not in use, many lives could be lost.
Speed should be left for the speed track professionals not for the commuters, Sara please live and fully recover!

She was moving around too much and fighting with doctors. She probably was freaked out being hooked up to tubes in a hospital. She probably doesn't remember much of the accident or any thing after that.
