Awesome news Timbo.

Thanks everyone. They woke her up and she was responsive, actually a little too much so she is back sleeping again. So far things are looking good.

Sara has taken a turn for the worse today. She has become unresponsive and her brain has become swollen. She has fluid surrounding her entire brain so they can not drain it to relieve the pressure. The doctors say that every hour that passes will only cause more brain damage. She had an MRI done today with results coming tomorrow.

I just wanted to thank everyone that has posted in support of Sarah and give you guys the sad news. Today the doctors let everyone know that tomorrow they will be taking her off of most the meds that they have been giving her. Unfortunatly, the doctors have said that they do not expect her condition to improve. They feel that she has suffored extensive brain damage and basically have prepared everyone for the worst. She might have survived her accident, but she more than likely will be brain dead. The worst part is that I have to tell my fiance when she gets home from work that her friend that she has know for so long is probably gone forever. I hope more than ever that the doctors are wrong, but it seems they have done everything they can do. Thank you again for all of your support MR, you are all truly great people.

There are no words that can express the proper amount of empathy I feel towards this experience yourself, your friends, family and those close to Sara are going through now.

Embrace the time shared with a wonderful person. Hang tight to memories of her in the future and try to put this tragic event last in your heart and minds.

May those that have been touched here if nothing else think twice before pushing that gas pedal further than it should be in the future.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear this news. Miracles do happen, keep hope alive in your heart. Best wishes to you and yours. You all will continue to be in my thoughts.

Today would have been Sarah's 27th birthday. We got the news yesterday that Sarah passed away at 7:10pm. Sarah was a good person and a great friend. She will be missed by many. I only hope that she is in a better place. Thank you MR for all of your support.
