what is the best internet service you have tried?... looking for best as im setting up new computer... looking for fastest and reliable...

Fios

If its available in your area Verizon Fios. Much faster and more reliable than cable. I've had it for 2-3 years and its never been down.

I haven't tried FIOS yet, because it hasn't reached my area....but I intend to switch from Roadrunner/Time Warner as soon as it gets here. Whatever you do get, if FIOS isn't available, be careful about getting locked into 2 year or more commitments...the cable/dsl companies are in a big panic over FIOS, and are offering great deals, but with locked in time commitments, to avoid losing customers. I have never once heard of a FIOS user who had a complaint.

a whole lot faster than cable and I had the fastest cable speed they offered.. The difference is when it's peak time in my area sharing the signal is not good for speed.. With Verizon I don't share I have my own something or another.. Not really sure but it's speed stays consistent..

fios is bad ass... and the TV from fios is great, gang of HD channels. and i just found out that fios streams pics and music from your computer to yor tv, and they will be able to stream movies soon. guess verizon knows about torrents:shhh:
