Pitching is what they need.Should of went hard after Santana instead of CC.Looking forward to the 2nd half cause the first is full of disappointments.A-Rod can't fix bad pitching.
Should have been at the game last night - I sat there in the 8th seat of that roller coaster - batting practice anyone - never has Pettite given up 4hr's in one game.
Mo never gave up back to back homers before either. The Yanks have been so streaky this season. Win 3.........lose 4...........win 4..........lose 6...........lets start a new win streak tonight.
The only thing keeping me from losing it is hockey playoffs....:banghead: Hopefully arod will take some pressure off tex..as for cc, although not pitching to his potential hes had a few good outings in a row so maybe it will turn into a win tonight.... the bullpen is a mess though the only reliable arm we had is on the DL for a few weeks and now we dont have a catcher so that should help the pitching out even more....:irked:
the Yankees don't exactly play very well against the O's. The O's also beat up on
CC on opening day. A complete game shutout...............that's a good win no matter who they are playing.
ok this is how I see baseball, back in the day it was the American sport but now its a bunch of juvienille millionares that just want more and more. To take your family to a game your dropping a good $500, a beer is $8-9 a hotdog $8 dollars you gotta be kidding. I hate baseball because these a$$ hole players just keep getting richer and richer.
Well, they are certainly playing better baseball now. 18 straight games without making an error. They are hitting and getting good pitching.
Salty Dog, that goes for any sport. While beer is $9 at a baseball game, it's not much cheaper at a basketball game or football game. Going to see any sport in person is damn expensive.
Expensive indeed....the yanks are Rocking....a month ago we were all sad :cat: and now watching the yanks is soo much fun....come from behind wins....back to back homeruns....walk off homeruns...great pitching... Joba Diving for double plays...our third string catcher did a wonderful JOB....
That play last night with Joba was so funny to watch. He looked so graceful flying through the air and then he landed and I think the earth shook. Just shows the passion he plays with.
