Mods, can I make my thread a sticky

or close it my own Forum? I want to make annoucements but not a chat thread in my forum.

Wingo...You should have a pull down tab under Thread Tools, which is on top of the first post in this thread, and one of the selections will let you sticky the thread. Towards the bottom right you should see a Moderation pull down, this will let you mod your forum, which includes closing threads.

Hmm,

I have only four options in my forum tools and that there is none about "sticky" nor "close a thread."

If you want to close a thread or make a sticky you have to do it from your main forum view. You will see a moderation drop down menu just below the last thread in your forum view. You have to select the threads you want to close or sticky by checking the box to the right of them and choosing the appropriate action within the Moderation drop down menu.
