This has happened to me when I lived with the parents and did their gardening. The landscaper and/or his employees would cut down everything I planted without regard until I finally caught him doing it and let him have a piece of my mind. I understand if I planted bulbs in the lawn and you didnt realize but why how oblivious or stupid can you be that you cut down things that are obviously planted and being tended to. I've had the same issue with the gardnener here and I said something to him, very politely of course, after I noticed it the first time. He told me I should put markers where I've planted so I walked him over to one area where there were a bunch of markers and everything was weed whacked ( evidence still layin there ). He apologized and told his workers to not mow or weed wack anywhere other than the grass. WHen I own my own place I'm going to do it all my self and thats it.

You have to understand that Spring is a crazy time for landscapers. With all the rain and warm/cold weather plants/grass grow like crazy. Plus, they can not make it every where with all the wet weather. Two months is a little long, but if you planted without telling them they will no know. It should be obvious that some things are not weeds or grass, but landscapers do hire people with no experience/limited experience. If you have been using the company for a long time give them a break. It probably was not intentional.

He did give himself a break as he has broken away before I even see his back. LOL

May be it's not my gardener, it's a plank!

I especially mention "the field, not the lawn" means that I have plowed the area with ditches and the field is quite barren. Not grassy like the lawn. I don't believe they look anything remotely weed. Good that my rasberries are not in the field yet.

I bet he will pack my compost and throw them to the curb side as garbage next time he's here!

I just realize something ironic-the field I made is a broken heart shape, fit my feeling right now totally.:tongue1:
