HELP: In Wall AC Removal

Hello Everybody,

I have a VERY OLD In-Wall Air conditioning unit. I tried taking it out of the wall and only got half way through and now the stupid thing won't come out anymore.

From my understanding the chassis slips out of the box that is outside... but it isn't working.

Can anybody help me out of does anybody know anybody I can hire to take it out? I am trying to get this thing out by Sunday :irked:

You need a bigger hammer... LOL.

Are there any screws or clips that cold be stopping it from coming out?

you probably have a lot of dirt and/or rust build up inside the sleeve that is blocking it from sliding out. try using a large screwdriver to wedge it out

on the bottom of the unit there should be 2 tabs that you have to pry up to release the unit . they should be mid way of the unit . try pulling up on the unit as u pull it out

Thanks for ithe input guys!!! No tabs on this piece of junk. I just got a good nights rest and I brute force ripped it out this morning LOL Thanks!!!
