They(President) are supposed to pay for any vacations with non-taxpayer money. However, to guard and safely transport the president is a very, very expensive task and this is what we(tax payers) pay for. Now dont forget about Camp David....in 1942 it was converted into a presidential retreat(playground) for the president to vacation and unwind. This facility is one of the most secure facilities in the World guarded by MSC-CD Marines. We (taxpayers are paying to keep this resort up to par 24/7). He has yet to go there...wonder why....????
