Where to buy beer locally?

I'm not exactly "new" to the area, but not an expert by any means. Who knows where to buy beer? I'm not talking about the grocery store (Stop and Shop, Pathmark, etc) because it's typically overpriced and their selection isn't great.

Looking for a spot with a good selection at decent prices.

The C-town by me in the ghetto has great prices on REALLY good beer. Chimay Gran Reserve for $12.99 for the big bottle. A sixer of Belhaven for $10. I regularly see beers there from all over. There's always lots of trappist and belgians, and some really good west coast stuff like lagunitas, bear republic and avery.

If you're looking for something special, try BierKraft in Park Slope. A LOT of good beers, although either normal prices or slightly more for the rarer stuff.
