Mike here's what a bunch of vendors do......increase color saturation. Your coral is suffering from "shipping stress" LOL :) They obviously do a much better job than I do :D

I feel like it's beating a dead horse at this point, and I don't pretend to have been in the hobby as long as some people, but it kills me when I see a tank full of plugs and "dots" of color in full tank shots. I'm not attacking anyone or saying you're doing it wrong, just that there's something to be said for a tank with larger colonies that have been allowed to grow in naturally.

The fact of the matter is that there are some people who want to pay $40 for a coral and those who want to pay $1500 just so they can say it cost $1500. It's just marketing and while that chalice is really nice, there are plenty of other ones out there that will probably look a lot better in your tank for a fraction of the money.
