progressive has renter insurance and seem to be reasonably priced, they also cover in case the fish tank breaks. Most insurance companies wont.

I use State Farm. Go over the policy carefully before signing on. Most insurance companies not only will not cover fish tank caused damage, but any damage caused by you. For instance, if you flood your house by leaving the sink on and clogging the drain, and they can prove it, they will not cover that damage.

when i called progressive i asked about my tank, and they assured me I would be covered. They said unless you forcefully tip it over you are covered, they consider it accidental if something happens.
