roofer question?

Hi thanks fellow reefer to reading my post.

My mom has a house with a flat roof but seem to have a pond of water on top of the roof that is not evaporating. I use flashing with modified bitman on top of the slope. Is there anyway to even this slope out so the water can evaporate.

How should i deal with this slope? donot want to spend the kind of money to hire a pro. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have no advice on this, but here is a bump to see if someone can help.

you can fill the low spot with insulation the right way is tapered insulation it starts small on one end and thicker on the other .put a basesheet ontop of it and nail it down with cap nails long enough to get into the wood deck . Install roofing.
If the existing roof is a modified bitumen roof (what people call ruber) leave it alone the standing water wont really affect it unless it is very deep over 2 inches and you dont want a breading pool for insects or weight on the roof . if you have a 90lbs roof (the tar paper with mineral surface ) you need to get the water off but those roofs are garbage anyway so if the roof is older than 5 years depending on the size of the area you want to repair just have the roof replaced and ask the person doing the job to take care of the ponding problem.

yes it is one those junk roofs I put the modified bitman over the top but I guess i didn't do a good job. Taper insulation it is something i can get in home depot?

The area isn't that big but when I decided to put the modified bituman on top of it I use cold adhensive which i step on it, creating a massive slope which led to 2 inches of water. I did put another piece on bituman on top to cover the slope.

I will look into the taper insulation but I think it might be time for a pro..arggh..
