Good move for the Yanks, a class guy and very good ball player. When he starts popping them out in right field you'll all feel better. Look at his away stats as compared to the Tigers home stadium, he was awesome away from Tigers field.

Well I won't feel better as my three favorite baseball teams are 1. Dodgers, 2. Whoever the Giants are playing and 3. Whoever the Yankees are playing.

I think its a good move. Kennedy couldn't perform in Yankee stadium and Coke was average at the best. Jackson was the only talent that was really given up on this trade, but you never know how good a player is till they get to the big leagues. Probably means Matsui and Damon are both gone.

Not sure if Andy coming back is a good idea being it's hard to repeat and they still need another starter like Lackey or Halladay.Andy is great in playoff games but during the regular season,he's average.

people are mistaking his 30 homers in place for those 141 strikeouts that he has. i agree he is a good outfielder with an adequate arm. i really hope he doeesnt come here and bat #2. cause that would be a mistake. i prefer to have both damon and matsui back. prefarably matsui who can hit lefthanders. with our heavey based lefthanded lineup, we need someone who can hit lefties. and granderson only hit 141 against lefties. if damon doesnt sign a contract similar to abreus. let him walk and sign derosa. a better number 2 guy in the order

No Matsuit back obviously but we'll get Damon back and he'll still be the # 2 hitter with Jeter leading off. Granderson is a #8 or 9 hitter with his speed and will be a good fit for that short porch in right.

With Halladay and Lackey gone,they'll probably put Joba and Hughes back in the rotation.Bad move imo but who else is there in the free agent market for Pitching?Sheets but who knows.

I hope they are smart and keep Joba in the pen.
