just thought I would share this with everyone, Last night I had someone come in to finish the wood floor in the nursery in my home, My wife wanted it stained darker, a red Cherry. Anyway, I gave him a quart of red cherry stain to darken the floor after sanding , to make a long story short he spills the cherry stain on the carpet upstairs....a very expensive plush rose color carpet... there was about 4 baseball size circle stains of red cherry oil base stain...:letitallo I tell him....DUDE YOU JUST RUINED THE WHOLE CARPET!!! I tied not to flip out and just shoot him there...and called my brother n law. He is my finisher for all my projects, I tell him the story and he ask' me if I have any GO-JO in the house...??? I surprisingly say YES I DO!! He tells me to goup it on the stain on the carpet , then get a rag and rub it out... I go.....O.K, what do i have to lose..the rug is FU&Ked as it is.
If I didn't see it before my own eyes I would have bet my paycheck on that it's not coming out. After two treatments of Go-JO , then went over the spots with dove Dish detergent in HOT water with a scrub brush....I would say 98% of the stain came out..... I still can't belive it, the carpet looks great....LOL
The bit of info I just wanted to give everyone is;
IF YOU EVER SPILL STAIN ON YOUR RUG ...GO TO PEP BOYS OR STRUSS AND GET GO-JO HAND CLEANER...IT WORKS...LOL
