I found a nice brand new Mag 7 pump for 40 bucks on craigslist. Emailed the guy and he sent his number back. Said to meet him this morning at 930 to pick it up. I called at 9 15 to make sure he still had it, he said come on over and get it. I got there and guess what, He said oh I sold it 2 mins ago to another guy who cam for the tank. I said why the F#$K did you even tell me to come over. What is wrong with people today? The guy could have at least called and made sure I was coming still or could have told me he sold the thing. What an Retard

That's craig's list for you. I am sure we all have stories and requests we have gotten from people for selling or buying stuff off of there. He took advantage of the fact someone was there with cash in hand (not saying you didn't) and ready to take everything for the most part.

Hahaha well some people do keep their word and I try to keep mine when selling something, unless the guy keeps saying I will be there tomorrow and then that turns into tomorrow then next week. you move on from those people and they suck too lol.

I have never tried to buy something from Craig's list. I did however buy a super nice swimming pool from ebay. Paid for it and everything. I went to go take it down and the dude told me that he sold it to a guy from his work and he would refund my money. I told him I wanted extra for the wasted trip down there and for the U-haul I rented. He said that those weren't his problem. I emailed ebay. Some people really are assholes.

i went thru hell with craigs list, i tried selling a setup on craigs list and got a million emails and calls for bullshyyyt.. then i get call with people asking me to sell it for 1/3 of what i was asking, and i was basically giving it away to begin with.. i put it up here and people cant believe the price im giving it away for.. and its gone in less than 24 hrs.. with craigs list it was up for a month and never had anyone serious! crazy!
