Computer Virus..

Anyone know what's a good virus program out there? My work computer got hit.. And it just keep coming up Antivirus Xp Alert... It scan my computer and tell me how many virus I have.. I try AVG and other and it didn't work... One of my friend said I am screw.. I have to format everything.. Anyone???

I can't even use that computer to goto any site.. do you know what's the file call? So I can use my other computer to download it and copy it to that computer.

Yea that's what couple ppl told me too.. But I really don't wanna go thru the whole things again.. is work computer too much crap inside..

Run it on safe mode and rescan.

Try superantispyware free, you can get it at www.download.com, just do a search.

if your pc is already infected, the chances r slim installing anything now will clean and/or remove all infections. Most software r for preventive purpose. Since the virus/malware probably has mess with your registry, your best bet is to do a system restore from safe mode and revert the system back to a previous date when the pc wasn't infected.

This one's easy to get rid of but you have to jump through some hoops.

Boot into safe mode with no network support.

Do NOT go into safe mode, but Restore from a System Restore Point from a date before this thing showed up. THis will let you boot without it being in your face and interfering with things.

Download and run Malwarebytes. It's free and it'll clean this.
