God help me but this has always been a peeve of mine. ;)

There, their, they're
There --
Refers to a place. The table is there. Move it over there, by the door.
Their -- plural possessive pronoun. That is their table. I wish they'd get off their asses and fix it.
They're -- contraction of They Are. They're going to chuck that table, it's a piece of crap.

Now you too can parse such unweildy constructions as "They're going to put their table over there." Woo!

("They" and "Their" are also acceptable for used in cases where gender or even number of people the pronoun is referring to are unknown. This has fallen out of favor recently, but screw it, the people who say it's wrong are actively trying to change the way English is used.)

Do you know what is really annoying? People who think they are better than others, get over yourselves. No one is perfect.

I don't think anyone said anything about being "better" than others or that they are "perfect". Trust me, I know I'm far from perfect. It's just that some posts can be difficult to read sometimes.

I am not talking about annoyance or perfection or better I am talking about the proper use of the language. I am not belittling anyone but just trying to express my frustration and also to maybe inspire others to learn the different nuances and idiosyncrasies within the text they are providing and to possibly see if it can be corrected.
