anyone had any luck setting up this camera to take nice closeups? Having the hardest time, and yes i know the lense sucks.

I have that camera. Very Difficult to get up clost shots with it. Ive found that if you shoot in RAW, with the Highest resolution, you can increase your focal length (Shoot from farther away) and then crop down the image to the shot you want. HTH.
